The Welch Allyn Single Use Sigmoidoscopes are used to illuminate and facilitate the examination of the rectal and anal cavity. The easy-to-use disposable speculum and obturator, which are individually wrapped for safety and convenience, are designed to help lower the risk of cross-contamination. The instrument also provides a means of entry for surgical instruments into the rectal and anal cavity as well.
