The AimStrip® Tandem Total Cholesterol Test Strips are used to measure total cholesterol in capillary whole blood. The measurements obtained are used in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders involving excess cholesterol in the blood and lipid and lipoprotein metabolism disorders such as diabetes, atherosclerosis, liver, and kidney diseases. The strips work with the AimStrip® Tandem Lipid Profile and Glucose Meter, which can measure total cholesterol and triglycerides simultaneously using the strip and provide results in about 2 minutes.
