Intended for use when a reduction of skin impedance would enhance a test result. EEG exams, evoked potential procedures, ECG stress tests, cardiac rehabilitation monitoring, cardiac catheter monitoring exam procedudres are appropriate for the use of NuPrep gel. Nuprep is an abrasive gel and should be used with care not to over abrade the skin. Nuprep gel is not recommended for use with current inducing electrodes such as defibrilltor or neuro-stimulating equipment. NuPrep gel is to be used topically on intact skin only. This product is not to be used on or near skin sites that are injured, including open wounnds, bruised skin, or skin that is weakened because of injury or the medical contition of the patient. Do not use on patients with a history of skin allergies or sensitivity to cosmetics and lotions. Patients with sensitivity to consmetics and lotions may experience a greater sensitivity to NuPrep gel than expected. When concerns due to compromised physical conditions or special skin sensitivities arise, the health care professional in counsel with the patient must determine whether this product is to be used for the test being perfomred. Respond immediately to ANY patient complaint of burnng or itching at the electrode site(s). Apply Nuprep to the sensor site, rub into the skin lightly. Rub off excess and apply proper conductive gel
